Upcoming Events shows three confirmed future talks as cards, each carrying the date, event name, city with a MapPin icon, the talk title, and a Register link. The lede is specific: three confirmed talks in the second half of 2026, and the aside that each sells out before the schedule drops signals demand without boasting.

Events are one array in a responsive three-column card grid. The date as a tabular-nums eyebrow and the city line are what make the card a practical heads-up rather than a vague announcement.

When to use

Reach for this block as the upcoming-appearances section on a speaker homepage or a dedicated events page. The installer swaps the dates, event names, cities, and talk titles for their confirmed bookings, and updates the lede count.

What you can display

One strong use is the where-to-see-me card row. Other upcoming layouts:

• Single event spotlight. One card wide with extra detail for a high-profile next appearance.
• With a waitlist link. Register replaced by Join waitlist for sold-out events already at capacity.
• Past and upcoming toggle. A client-side switch between future and most-recent past events.

Tip: if a talk is sold out before publishing, change the link label to Waitlist, the honest label keeps the block useful to visitors who arrive late.
