About this block

Timeline With Art runs four numbered steps down a vertical line, each step paired with a Placeholder thumbnail on the right showing the artifact produced at that stage. The structure is precise: Brief and discovery in week 1 ends with a written brief agreed by both parties, directions in week 2 end with a direction deck with rationale and a revised scope, and so on through handoff in week 6. A You get label under each description names the deliverable explicitly.

Steps are one typed array with number, title, duration, description, and artifact fields. The Placeholder beside each step is the distinctive detail: it makes a process section a visual sequence of tangible outputs, not a list of phase names.

When to use

Reach for this block on a services or process page where the installer wants to show the shape of a full engagement with concrete deliverables at each stage. The installer swaps the step content to match their own process, keeping the artifact line specific and concrete for every step.

A natural flow around it on a Portfolio Pro page:

Before

• Services list
• Case study split

After

• Stats row
• Contact band

What you can display

One strong use is the six-week engagement timeline. Other timeline shapes:

• Sprint-based process. Two-week cycles named by output rather than phase, for agile practices.
• Retainer rhythm. Monthly cadence showing what happens in week one, two, and end of month per cycle.
• Agency pipeline. From initial brief through launch and post-launch review, for a studio offering.

Tip: the artifact line is what separates a credible process section from a marketing slide; name what the client holds at the end of each step, not what you do during it.
