Inline Newsletter Band is a slim bordered card with a one-line pitch (Get new writing by email), a two-line qualifier (A few posts a month on design, process, and the work. No roundups, no ads.), and an inline email input with a Subscribe button. On success the form is replaced by a plain confirmation: You are on the list. New writing lands in your inbox a few times a month. The band uses py-12 instead of the standard py-16 to stay compact enough for mid-page placement between articles or sections.
The component is a single client block with two useState calls for email and submitted state. The compact padding is the distinctive detail: a full hero-height newsletter section interrupts reading flow; a band this height fits naturally between a blog post body and an author bio.
Reach for this block mid-page between content sections, at the foot of an article, or between a blog listing and a footer. The installer swaps the pitch, qualifier, and form endpoint for their own newsletter setup.
A natural flow around it on a Portfolio Pro page:

One strong use is the mid-article newsletter subscribe band. Other inline band uses:
Tip: the no-roundup, no-ads qualifier in the lede is doing real work; readers who have been burned by newsletters convert better when you name what you are not sending.
