Album Grid organizes a photography archive into six named series, each shown as a Placeholder cover with a 4/3 aspect ratio, an album title, a tabular photo count, and a date range. The albums span from East Africa in late 2023 to Iceland in March 2025, with a running total of 413 photos across six albums shown above the grid. Japan Autumn leads with 72 frames; Central America has the most at 91.
Albums are one array of cards. Linking each album by title rather than just a thumbnail count communicates that the work is organized by intent, not volume.
Reach for this block as the collections index of a photography portfolio, sitting above or instead of a flat grid when the work is organized into distinct trips or series. The installer swaps the album titles, counts, and date ranges for their own series.

Tip: a date range that spans months, October to December 2024, communicates a committed body of work more than a single date does.
