Footer With Availability splits the footer into two columns: the left carries the name, a positioning line, Product designer, working remotely from Lisbon with teams across Europe and North America, and the email address as a plain link. The right carries a status card showing Taking new projects from August 2026 with a dot indicator toggling between available and fully booked, plus a row of four social icon links below it. A ruled copyright bar closes the block.
The availability status is one object with an available boolean and a label string. The dot toggling on the boolean is the distinctive detail: it turns a static footer into a live availability board that visitors can read at a glance.
Reach for this block as the footer of a portfolio for a freelancer or studio that fields inbound requests and wants to manage expectations honestly. The installer swaps the name, the positioning line, the email, the status label, and the social hrefs, and flips the boolean when their schedule changes.
A natural flow around it on a Portfolio Pro page:

One strong use is the freelance availability footer. Other status-aware closers:
Tip: keep the availability label a real month, Taking new projects from August 2026 sets an expectation and shows the site is maintained; soon is not a date.
