About this block

Availability Faq leads with the real next opening ("August 2026") stated inline in the lede so visitors know where they stand before reading anything else. The five questions cover lead time, how far in advance to reach out (four to six weeks for most projects), rush work (30% premium, honest note about whether the timeline is realistic), the waiting list, and what happens when a start date slips. The rush surcharge is the distinctive detail: a specific percentage and an honest caveat rather than a vague "it depends."

The next opening is a const at the top of the file so the installer changes it in one place and it updates in both the lede and the first accordion answer.

When to use

Reach for this block on a contact or hire-me page to replace the generic "get in touch" with actionable booking information. The installer updates the nextOpening const and the booked-through month in the first answer.

A natural flow around it on a Portfolio Pro page:

• Services
• Pricing FAQ

After

What you can display

One strong use is the solo freelancer availability page. Other configurations:

• Currently available. Change nextOpening to "Immediately" and update the answers to reflect open capacity.
• Agency capacity. Replace the single slot model with team-level capacity and sprint-team availability.
• No waiting list. Drop question four if the practice does not maintain one and replace with a retainer or referral answer.

Tip: surfacing the next opening in the lede saves every qualified visitor the scroll; they know in three seconds whether the timing works.
