Positions List

About this block

Positions List is a tight ruled index of six roles from Design Intern at Open Foundry in 2015 through Lead Product Designer at Ledger today, each row showing company, title, employment type, and year range with no descriptions. A footer note, title and employer shown, no descriptions by design, makes the omission deliberate rather than incomplete. The contract row for Orbit Systems 2019 sits inside the full-time history without breaking the visual rhythm.

Positions are one const array. The row is a four-column flex layout that collapses gracefully on mobile, hiding the title and type columns so the company and date pair remain readable. The absence of summaries is the distinctive detail.

When to use

Reach for this block as the complete employment index on a resume CV page, paired with a highlights or history block that carries the narrative above it. The installer swaps every row for their own history including contract and internship entries, and keeps the descriptions absent.

What you can display

One strong use is the full CV employment index. Other compact list shapes:

• With description hidden on desktop too. For a pure index where the visitor already read a highlights block.
• Education appended. Degrees added below employment with a type field set to Education.
• Two columns. A two-up grid for long histories that would otherwise scroll far before reaching skills.

Tip: the no-descriptions footer note is the credibility signal; it tells the visitor the omission was a choice, not a missing field.
