About this block

Case Study Cover opens a project page with a full-width Placeholder hero image followed by a bordered panel split into the project title and subtitle on the left and a compact meta table on the right. The title is Redesigning the reporting layer; the subtitle describes the goal in one sentence; the meta table lists Client (Ledger Financial), Role (Lead product design), Duration (9 weeks), and Year (2025) as label-value pairs.

Cover data is two objects (cover and meta array). The separate meta table is the distinctive choice: it gives the reader client, role, and duration before they read a word of the case, so they can judge relevance immediately.

When to use

Reach for this block as the opening section of any long case study page, placed after the navbar and before the body content. The installer swaps the title, subtitle, and meta values for their own project.

A natural flow around it on a Portfolio Pro page:

• Navbar

After

• Case study split
• Process walkthrough

What you can display

One strong use is the opening cover for a product design case study. Other uses:

• Agency project cover. Studio name in the Client field, brief type in Role, engagement length in Duration.
• Photography project. Series title and a short description of subject and location in the subtitle.
• Writing project. Publication in Client, format in Role, and word count in Duration.

Tip: write the subtitle as the goal of the project, not a summary of the outcome; the outcome belongs in the metrics section after the reader has seen the work.
