Recognition Band is a slim border-y strip that runs between two taller sections, listing award names and press features inline with their source and year: Site of the Year / Awwwards / 2024, Gold Pencil / D&AD / 2023, Featured in Wired / Wired / 2024. Eight entries wrap naturally on small viewports using flex-wrap and gap-x-8.
Items are one flat array, the same shape for both award wins and press mentions. The band is intentionally quiet: no icons, no cards, just names in a horizontal flow that signals credibility without demanding a full section.
Reach for this block immediately below a hero or above a work grid, where a full awards section would break the momentum. The installer swaps in their own recognition items, keeping each name concise enough to scan at a glance.
A natural flow around it on a Portfolio Pro page:

One strong use is the credibility strip between hero and work. Other band uses:
Tip: mix award wins and press features in the same array only when both kinds of recognition are comparable in weight; a single Gold Pencil beside ten blog mentions reads uneven.
