About this block

Principles About is the opinionated about, three cards each split into a principle and its cost. Slow is smooth: fewer projects a year, four or five, not twelve. Ship small to learn fast: it can frustrate teams who want the full picture first. Say what you see: this has cost me engagements. The cost section is separated by a top border inside each card and rendered at text-xs, so it reads as a footnote the installer chose to leave visible.

Principles are one array of three objects with title, body, and cost, rendered as a three-column grid with the cost in a bottom-bordered compartment. Naming the cost is the distinctive choice: it turns a values list into an honest working agreement.

When to use

Reach for this block as the beliefs or approach section of an about page, particularly for a freelancer who wants to filter for good client fit. The installer swaps all three principles and costs for ones that reflect their actual practice and actual tradeoffs.

A natural flow around it on a Portfolio Pro page:

What you can display

One strong use is the freelance working-agreement principles for a senior independent practitioner. Other shapes:

• Studio version. Three principles the whole team holds, with the cost the studio accepts as a result.
• Client-facing. Principles framed toward the client relationship: how decisions get made, what the installer will push back on.
• Two cards. A more selective version with the two beliefs that most affect who the installer works with.

Tip: the cost line is the whole point; a principle list without stakes reads like a co-working space values wall.
