About Long Form is a reading-width essay about, a single heading and three prose paragraphs that tell a real career arc: starting in a print shop making things fit, moving into digital work in 2014 as clients shifted to software, and today taking on one or two long engagements a year to work on the dense interior of products. No imagery, no stats strip. The block earns its word count by being specific.

There are no arrays. The three paragraphs are hardcoded prose at max-w-2xl, which forces the installer to write a real story rather than fill in a template. That is the distinctive choice: a layout that rewards specificity.

When to use

Reach for this block as the primary about section of a personal portfolio or a standalone about page. The installer replaces every sentence with their own story, keeping the three-act structure: how I got here, what shaped me, what I focus on now.

What you can display

One strong use is the career-arc essay for a long-tenured freelancer. Other long-form shapes:

• The focus statement. A shorter two-paragraph form that leads with the niche and ends with an availability line.
