About this block

Centered Video Showcase treats one film like an event. A centered heading and lede sit above a single ultrawide player mockup, a 21 by 9 placeholder poster under a large play disc with a deep shadow, and a caption line carrying the exact duration and caption languages. Nothing competes with the player, the section is a frame.

The copy and caption are strings, the player is a button wrapping the shared placeholder, ready for a real poster and embed. The ultrawide ratio is the cinematic signal, it tells visitors this is a produced film rather than a screen recording before a frame plays.

When to use

Reach for this block when you have one piece of genuinely produced video, a brand film, an annual customer documentary, a launch film, and want the page to honor the production budget. It is the video counterpart of featured-post-split at full width. For product tours and tutorials, the humbler video-player-split sets truer expectations.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• About sections the film emotionally completes

After

• Case Studies for the written version of the stories in the film
• CTAs while the feeling lasts

What you can display

One strong use is a customer documentary short. Other showcases:

• Brand film. The company manifesto as film on the about page.
• Annual recap. A year in four minutes for the report or investor page.
• Event aftermovie. The conference recap that sells next year better than any agenda.

Tip: the caption line earns the cinema treatment, six languages and an exact runtime say craft where autoplay would say ad.
