Alternating Quotes opens with a centered section heading, then stacks testimonials in a divided column. Each entry is a figure containing a large blockquote followed by an avatar and two lines of attribution. Odd entries are left-aligned and even entries flip to the right, so the stack has a natural zigzag rhythm that pulls the eye downward. Thin dividers between entries give the column a clean, editorial structure without visible card borders.
Every part of the block is independent. The heading is plain copy you can rewrite or remove. The number of testimonials is not fixed, and you can add or remove entries freely. The left and right alternation follows the entry order automatically, so adding a fourth quote continues the pattern without any manual adjustment.
Reach for this block when you want multiple voices on the page without resorting to a carousel or a cramped grid. It reads well on a marketing page for a project management workspace, where showing three distinct personas (a marketing lead, a brand director, a demand gen manager) makes the breadth of the audience visible. The alternating alignment gives each testimonial its own moment, which helps when the quotes are long and specific rather than short social snippets.
A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Any set of specific, outcome-focused quotes reads well in this frame:
Tip: keep each quote to two or three sentences so the zigzag rhythm stays readable and no single entry overwhelms the others.
