About this block

Team Growth Chart makes restraint visible. Five years of headcount step up as a shadcn line, dots at the hires, beside the philosophy that explains the shape, hire when the work demands a person, with the flat stretches claimed as the proudest quarters. The revenue multiple in the copy gives the flat line its meaning.

Built on ui/chart with a stepAfter line, the right shape for headcount, people arrive discretely. The copy and chart argue together, neither carries the claim alone.

When to use

Reach for this block on about and open metrics pages of deliberately small companies, the anti growth at all costs positioning made quantitative. It pairs with about-with-stats and the careers blocks, candidates read the flat stretches as stability.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• About sections setting the independence story

After

• Team grids showing the twelve faces on the line
• Careers for the next step on the chart

What you can display

One strong use is deliberate headcount against implied revenue. Other steps:

• Customer milestones. Major accounts arriving as steps for a reference dense business.
• Office timeline. Locations opening as steps for a distributed story.
• Product count. Deliberately few products over many years for a focus narrative.

Tip: claim the flat stretches in the copy, an unexplained plateau reads as stall, a claimed one reads as discipline.
