About this block

Stats Comparison Columns is the before and after as a ledger. A compact table holds four measures with their before values struck through in muted text and their on Acme values bold in primary, under a header row that labels the columns. The strikethrough does the arguing, each row reads as a correction.

The rows are one array of measure, before, and after. Mixed units keep it honest, hours, counts, days, and percentages all fit because each row compares only to itself. The median customer framing in the lede sources all four rows at once.

When to use

Reach for this block when the transformation story fits in numbers but a chart would overstate the ceremony. It is the stats group cousin of before-after, aimed at outcomes rather than features, and smaller than grouped-bar-comparison when four rows of text do the job. Strong on case study adjacent landing pages.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• Case Studies providing the named stories behind the medians

After

• Pricing while the arithmetic of the switch is visible
• CTAs for readers who saw their own before column

What you can display

One strong use is the median customer two quarters after switching. Other ledgers:

• Process modernization. Manual steps before and after for an automation product.
• Cost lines. Spend categories before consolidation and after.
• Team load. Meetings, handoffs, and exports per week, then and now.

Tip: keep one before value that stays respectable, a column of catastrophes reads as a strawman while one decent before makes the rest believable.
