About this block

Milestones Inline Text tells six years of company history as a single flowing paragraph where the milestones render at display size inline, 4 people, 1,000 customers, $10M, 10B emails, with years as small caps markers between them. Stats with grammar, the sentence does what a timeline graphic usually does, but reads instead of scans.

The block is pure JSX composition, no data array, edit the paragraph directly. The closing line carries the voice, stay boring, stay fast.

When to use

Reach for this block on about pages and anniversary posts where a timeline would feel corporate and a stats band would feel cold. One paragraph is the format, if you need eight milestones, use the milestone timeline blocks instead.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• About sections opening the company story

After

• Team sections showing who did all that
• Careers for readers who want in

What you can display

One strong use is founding to now in four numbers. Other passages:

• Product journey. From first commit to current scale.
• Customer journey. A composite year one told with their numbers inline.
• Year recap. The annual letter opener with the four numbers that mattered.

Tip: keep one milestone humble, 4 people and a parser does more for the big numbers than another big number would.
