About this block

Milestone Progress Bars shows in flight work with a gauge. Four initiatives each carry a title, a stage chip, an owning team on the right, and a progress bar filled to its state, descending from in review at 80 percent to researching at 12. A closing footnote defines what the bars measure, milestones passed rather than days elapsed, which keeps the gauge from being a guess.

The initiatives are one array of title, stage, owner, and width. The descending order is deliberate, it reads as a pipeline with items at every stage. Named owners add accountability no anonymous roadmap carries, use team names if individuals feel exposed.

When to use

Reach for this block between roadmap updates when buyers ask how far along the headline items are. It adds the dimension that roadmap-columns lacks, progress within a stage, at the cost of needing honest updates with every release. The footnote convention keeps the bars defensible in a sales call.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• Roadmap board naming the full set this section gauges

After

• Changelog where full bars go to graduate
• Newsletter for progress updates by email

What you can display

One strong use is the four headline initiatives mid flight. Other gauges:

• Migration program. Customer cohorts moving through an infrastructure transition.
• Compliance program. Frameworks progressing toward audit for the trust page.
• Hiring pipeline. Open roles by stage for a careers page variant with the candidates as the milestones.

Tip: define the bar in the footnote, milestones not days is the sentence that makes a progress bar a measurement instead of a mood.
