About this block

Before After Screens argues with two pictures. The before frame is deliberately shabby, dashed borders, washed out grays, a nine tab grid of tiny disagreeing panels under a 9 tabs, 3 exports title. The after frame is the collection at full confidence, solid card, shadow, three crisp stats and a rising line under a one dashboard title. Verdict captions beneath each frame land the comparison in words.

Both screens are pure markup, and the rhetoric lives in the styling contrast, dashed versus solid, faded versus full strength. Keep the before recognizable rather than absurd, the visitor should wince with recognition, not roll their eyes.

When to use

Reach for this block when the pain is visual chaos, tool sprawl, tab fatigue, manual stitching. It dramatizes what before-after states in copy and what side-by-side-mockups shows neutrally, this version editorializes through styling. One per page, the trick spends its welcome fast.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• Heroes naming the chaos this section then illustrates

After

• Product tours walking the after screen properly
• Cost breakdown pricing the difference between the two figures

What you can display

One strong use is reporting chaos versus one dashboard. Other pairs:

• Inbox sprawl. Scattered conversation tools versus one queue for support products.
• Spreadsheet era. A grid of sheet fragments versus the structured app that replaced them.
• Handoff mess. Email threads and attachments versus a single review screen for approval tools.

Tip: the before frame earns the block, spend your effort making it feel like last Monday, the after sells itself by contrast.
