About this block

App Widget Showcase puts the home screen widgets at their real proportions. A wide chart tile spans two columns for trends, a small square shows today at a glance, and a quick actions grid captures a task without opening the app, each under a plain caption naming its job.

Every widget is drawn from divs and theme tokens, the bars, counts, and toggles are markup, not screenshots. A row of behavior notes below answers the three questions widgets always raise, refresh cadence, available sizes, and low power behavior.

When to use

Reach for this block on an app page once the core features are made, where the story becomes how little you need to open the app. Widgets are a retention argument, so place it after the feature walk and before the download ask.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• App features covering what the app does when open

After

• Store badges band closing with the download
• FAQs handling platform and device questions

What you can display

One strong use is a chart, a daily count, and quick capture. Other sets:

• Finance app. Balance, spend this month, and a pay button for money at a glance.
• Fitness app. Rings, step count, and start workout for the wrist and home screen.
• Team tool. Unread, next meeting, and quick note for work between sessions.

Tip: caption each widget with its job, the value of a widget is what it saves you from opening.
