About this block

Letter From Founder is correspondence on a marketing page. A narrow column carries a salutation, three short paragraphs, and a signature block with avatar, name, and a real email address, ruled off like the bottom of a letter. The shipped copy demonstrates the register, it names the catch before the reader finds it, small team, slower roadmap, and trades those admissions for believability.

The paragraphs are plain JSX and the signature is the shared portrait with strings. The direct email in the signature is the commitment that makes the form honest, a letter signed with a contact form is a press release. Keep it under 150 words.

When to use

Reach for this block on about pages, pricing pages for small teams selling against giants, or as the closing section of an editorial page. The letter weaponizes smallness, admissions plus access is a pitch no enterprise competitor can copy. It is the prose sibling of about-split-with-quote, and the most personal block in the collection, use it once per site.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• About or Pricing sections that raised the questions the letter answers candidly

After

• CTAs with the low pressure framing the letter set up
• Footers closing the page

What you can display

One strong use is the founder note that names the catch. Other letters:

• The pricing letter. Why the price is what it is, signed by whoever sets it.
• The apology letter. After a public incident, the letter version of the postmortem.
• The farewell letter. Sunsetting a product with dignity, the rarest and most remembered page on the internet.

Tip: admit the true objection in paragraph one, a letter that concedes nothing is an ad in a costume.
