About this block

Content With Toc Sidebar dresses long form content like documentation. A sticky mini table of contents runs along a left rule with one active item marked by a primary edge, beside an article column with a display heading, an intro paragraph, and subheaded prose. The shipped copy is a working sample, a guide written for skeptics, showing the intended register.

The toc is one array of label and active flag, ready to wire to scroll position, and the prose is plain JSX. The sample establishes the format, an intro that names the reader, subheads as claims, paragraphs that argue. Replace it with your own long read.

When to use

Reach for this block for cornerstone guides on marketing pages, content long enough to need navigation but framed as a section rather than a blog post. The docs styled toc signals this will be substantive before a word is read. For shorter arguments use prose-two-column, columns pace better than navigation under a thousand words.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• Headline openers framing why the guide exists

After

• Numbered takeaways summarizing for the readers who scrolled
• CTAs tied to the guide subject

What you can display

One strong use is the definitive guide your category lacks. Other long reads:

• Methodology document. How your benchmark or index is built, with the toc as its chapters.
• Migration guide. The switch documented honestly, sections per phase.
• Buying guide. How to evaluate your category including competitors, the confident play.

Tip: write subheads as claims rather than topics, the toc then reads as an argument outline and earns clicks on its own.
