Whats New Banner is the changelog knocking politely. One bordered row, entirely clickable, carries a sparkle icon disc, the headline feature with a version chip, a one line summary of the rest of the quarter, and an arrow that nudges on hover. It is sized to slot between any two sections without claiming real estate.
The headline, version, and summary are strings. The summary line truncates gracefully, so front load it. Update the banner with each meaningful release, its value decays with the date, and a stale whats new quietly becomes a whats old.
Reach for this block on homepages and product pages between releases of real changelog energy, it keeps shipping visible without the height of changelog-list-dated. It plays the same role as update-banner-with-badge but as an in flow section rather than a page top strip, pick by position, not preference.
A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Tip: rotate or remove on a schedule, this banner is a perishable good and reads stale faster than any other block.
