About this block

Interview Prep List publishes what interviews usually hide. Three stage cards each name what the stage assesses, in primary, and how to prepare, with the preps written against rehearsal culture, nothing to rehearse, thinking out loud beats polish. The lede states the philosophy, interviews go better when candidates know what stages are for.

The stages are one array of stage, assesses, and prep. Publishing the rubric is the position, it advantages candidates who engage over candidates who grind prep guides, which selects for exactly the trait most teams want.

When to use

Reach for this block on careers pages after hiring-process-steps, that block gives the schedule, this one gives the rubric. Together they make your process the most legible one a candidate will encounter that month, which is a recruiting advantage all by itself.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• Hiring process steps laying out the stages this decodes

After

• Open roles for the candidate now ready to apply
• Employee quotes on what the process was like inside

What you can display

One strong use is the rubric behind a three stage loop. Other guides:

• Portfolio guidance. What design reviewers actually look at, published.
• Take home policy. Why you do or do not assign them, with the alternative explained.
• Offer process. How compensation gets set, the last black box, opened.

Tip: name what each stage assesses in one sentence, candidates can forgive any process they can understand.
