Live Signups Banner is momentum in one line. A pill banner carries the pulsing dot, the most recent join with its city and recency, a team from Rotterdam, 4 minutes ago, and the day count. The city detail is what separates signal from spam, generic someone just signed up widgets burned this pattern, specificity revives it.
The line and count are strings that must wire to real events, this is the one block in the collection that is worse than nothing when faked, fake urgency is detectable and remembered. Round the recency, never show seconds.
Reach for this block on high traffic landing pages where the volume genuinely supports it, the banner needs a join every few minutes to stay honest. Below that rate, use waitlist-stats-band style daily numbers instead, momentum at the honest granularity.
