About this block

Bottom Docked Banner is the consent pattern done politely. A rounded card floats pinned to the bottom of the viewport over a backdrop blur, holding a plain language message with an inline privacy link and three actions: accept all, essential only, and a ghost dismiss. The copy template refuses dark patterns, it says what is collected and what is not.

The message and labels are plain strings. As shipped the buttons are presentational, wire them to your consent state, and the outer wrapper uses pointer events so the page stays interactive around the card. The fixed positioning is the point of the block, in the block preview it sits at the bottom of the frame.

When to use

Reach for this block when a cookie or consent notice is legally needed and you want it to cost as little goodwill as possible. Equal weight buttons and honest copy convert better than tricks, and the essential only path builds the kind of trust marketing pages spend months earning. The same shell also works for region pickers or a beta feedback prompt where a docked card fits.
