About this block

Story Timeline tells the company history as chapters on a line. A heading and lede introduce the short version, then five milestones run down a hairline rule, each with a year in the primary color, a chapter title, and two sentences of story. The dots on the rule give the page a sense of travel without a single graphic asset.

The milestones are one array of year, title, and text. Five chapters is the sweet spot, three feels thin and seven turns into a changelog. The last entry should land in the present tense and point forward, the timeline reads as unfinished in the best way when the final dot is still warm.

When to use
