An even grid of project cards, each with a cover image, title, and short caption. Use it as the main index for browsing a portfolio at a glance.
Standard Grid opens with a centered section header: a large bold heading and a one or two sentence description that frames the work below. Beneath it, project cards fill an even three column grid. Each card holds an aspect ratio cover image, a title, a short description capped at two lines, a row of small technology tags, and a "View project" button. On hover the cover image scales up gently, a gradient veil fades in over it, and a category badge slides into the top right corner of the image.
The heading copy, the subtitle, and every project entry are independent. You can swap in any number of cards, rewrite titles and descriptions, change the tag list, and update the button link without affecting the layout. The category badge and hover behavior require no configuration: they respond to whatever category string you provide on each item.
Reach for this block when you need a scannable index of finished work, particularly when the projects are technical and the audience wants to see at a glance what stack or domain each one covers. For a fintech or banking product portfolio it is a natural fit: a set of shipping projects shown with their tooling reads as credible evidence of delivery, not just a list of claims. It suits a dedicated projects page or the main body of a portfolio home. The filterable grid is the better choice when visitors need to narrow results by type; this layout is preferable when all the work belongs together and you want uniform weight on every card.
A natural flow around it on a Portfolio page:
Before
After
Each card is a self contained unit, so the grid works for almost any collection of finished work:
Tip: keep descriptions to one sentence so the two line clamp never truncates mid thought and every card stays the same height in the grid.
