A grid of feature cards that open to reveal more detail on click. Keeps the overview tidy while letting curious shoppers dig into the specifics.
Expandable Features Grid opens with a centered heading, a supporting paragraph, and a wide product image that spans the full content column. Below the image sits a responsive grid of feature cards, each showing a circular icon, a title, and a short description in its collapsed state. Clicking a card or its "Details" button expands that card to full row width, replacing the compact view with a two-column panel: a longer description on the left and a contextual product photo on the right. A "Show less" button collapses the card back into the grid. Below the grid a short reassurance line leads into two call-to-action buttons.
Only one card can be expanded at a time. The heading copy, badge label, product image, number of feature cards, and the short and long descriptions inside each card are all independent. You can add or remove cards without changing anything else, and the CTA buttons at the bottom can be retargeted or removed entirely.
Reach for this block when a course catalog or learning platform needs to present several capabilities side by side without committing the full page to a wall of text. It works well mid-page on a product detail or feature overview route where students or buyers want a quick scan first and the option to go deeper on the items that interest them. Compared to a plain feature grid it rewards curiosity without overwhelming the overview, and compared to a full accordion it keeps all the cards visible at once so nothing is hidden behind a label.

Each card holds two layers of copy that serve different reader types:
Tip: keep your short descriptions to two lines so the collapsed cards stay the same height and the grid rows stay visually even.
